Facebook Username
Facebook has released personalized addresses. You can choose your own name, by going to facebook.com/username. You can pick a variety of web addresses, I would suggest that you grab your name while you can. I took facebook.com/andrew.elkins as it was still available. If your name is not, come up with something creative like “android”. Hurry as they are going fast. Oh and pick carefully as you can not change it! Good luck.
A few things to consider when picking your name.
THe first what are you using facebook for? If personal your name is fine. It offers you the option to link to if you want to use it in professional life as well. However, if you are sure that it will remain personal then have some fun with it. Be creative. Make an acronym that only you understand, or only tell a select few so they understand what it means. Another though is if you own a business you could make it more know by having your business as your facebook link.
